      It should be made more clear what this book actually is. It is a series of vignettes highlighting mostly Native American scholars and their journey through their dissertation and how they approached it a way that was culturally responsive to them and validated non-Western ways of knowing. This is not a methodology s: Weaving Ways is structured with four interrelated quadrants which teachers can utilize to organize their thinking and approaches. The structure supports teachers in designing meaningful teaching and learning opportunities that weave together Indigenous ways of knowing with Western pedagogical.

Ways of knowing ( syllabus) The ways of knowing are the mechanisms via which we produce and make sense of our knowledge. The TOK course identifies 8 different ways of knowing, although they work very much in unison to help to navigate the world.
